Wedge is playing great, but he's got a .906 save% and a GAA near 3 this year. I'm happy for him and he's playing amazing tonight, but I don't think we missed out on anything too crazy by trading him.

Well, it' obvious Wedge is going to pitch a shutout tonight. He better not shut out the Devils at the Rock or I'll puke.

Stellar play by Andy Greene in front.

We should pull Kinkaid and put in Wedgewood. Wait...

He always seems to have pucks deflect off him or be chippy in front of the night

Just tuning in now, I take it things are not going well?

Apparently the Devils traded away the next Vezina winner.

Save pct alone doesn't tell the full story. He doesn't have a good defense in front of him, they give up a lot of quality chances.

That’s because he has been playing like a traffic cone.

Scoring goals has been a tough proposition for the Devils the last couple of games lol. Makes giving up a goal a much bigger deal when you aren't scoring 4-5 a night.

Regardless, he didn't light the AHL up either. He's a good goalie and I preferred him over Kinkaid. I just think people are judging him by a game that he's incredibly motivated in.

Yeah, looking back on this thread, I see where your post is coming from, people here are ready to name Wedge the next Hasek. He's good, not great, he's not even outplaying Raanta.

My prediction is we get shutout 5-0 and Wedge gets goal number 5 doing his best Marty impression but shoots the puck with his eyes closed.

Who believes in a comeback?

A comeback is very doable, teams like Phoenix are as bad as they are for a reason. In Wedge's first Arizona start, they won in OT, but not before surrendering a two goal lead in the final minute or two.
