'7' 1,304
I don't see how the Rangers got fleeced. Good prospects, a 1st and a conditional 2nd. And Namestnikov who is a good player.

TheMazz 43
A 1st which very well may be the 31st pick A late 2nd Namestnikov is a good piece but for Miller and McD? Jesus that's a lot

I get the impression Tampa sold high on Namestnikov, he's maybe a 40 point guy who got a big lift from playing on the same line as two Art Ross contenders this season. Yzerman was a bit of a snake oil salesman in this considering what he could have given up. "Why have Cal Foote when I can interest you in a "way better" and "exotic" Libor Hajek?" NJDevils1214 3,172
I'm pretty happy with the Rags deal. Sergachev being a Rag would have been pretty awful. Namestnikov is going to go down like all the other mid-range Rags forwards that made our lives hell by always playing better against NJ but he isn't the kind of guy that can carry a team. SterioDesign 3,312
So is this it? I can't imagine him bumping Wood or Grabner down Hall - Hischier - Bratt Grabner - Zacha - Palmieri Wood - Zajac - Noesen Maroon - Boyle - Coleman
MadDog2020 9,050
And with that, I can relax. I mean, Namestnikov is a solid piece I think. But no absolute game changers. Stevie Y doesn't get bitched in trades.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

NJDevs4978 824
Someone explain to me how the hell Tomas Tatar returned a 1, 2 AND 3...did McPhee lose his mind between the expansion draft and now?

You can also move Maroon up in the lineup to a middle 6 role if there are injuries. This basically ensures that Mojo is out for the rest of the season at this point, which is probably best for him and the team long term.
