I had a dream last night that the Devils tied it up late 1-1 and scored the game winning goal with 0.5 left on the clock.  I don't know how I feel about dreaming about stressful hockey games.  At least they won in my dreamland.

I REALLY hope it's a lot easier than that lol.

I think it’s the right move.

Agreed. Sends a message. Honestly feel he'll be better in the upcoming games. We'll see. I'm still giving him the benefit of the doubt because of the injury, his play in the first part of the season and how he's played the last few years for us, but he has to be better.

It appears that the lines tonight are:

Hall-Hischier-Bratt

Grabner-Zacha-Palmieri

Maroon-Zajac-Noesen

Wood-Boyle-Coleman

(from: http://www.nj.com/devils/index.ssf/2018/03/devils_lines_pairings_vs_canadiens_3618.html)

If they're going to take Palmieri off the top line, I would really like to see Wood-Zacha-Palmieri again. I'm glad that they separated Grabner from Maroon and Zajac because that line was just getting nothing done. I do find it odd that Wood is going to be on the fourth line, after playing relatively well. Meanwhile Grabner, who has yet to show much, is moving up. I guess it's still experiment time for him.

At least Hayes and Stafford are where they belong. I think it's about time for Mueller to get another game, but we'll have to wait on that.

Is management questioning who our starting Goaltender is? Something we take a look at in the off-season perhaps?

Prob not. Though im wondering if cory blames the goalie coach again like he did last time and got him fired.

Don't think so. Schneider is having a rough stretch back from injury. Don't think it changes the orgs. opinion of him. For all we know, him sitting tonight might be good for his morale and e goes on to play solid hockey for us in the coming weeks.

We hope... I actually think this benching is worse for him personally.  He already sat for over a month, and now finds himself sitting again.

Big game for kk tonight

The captain gets held to different standards, unfortunately.  It's just the reality of the situation.

He shouldn’t be, though, that’s my issue, there shouldn’t be anyone on this team that is beyond reproach. Captains in other teams and even this one have sat a game or two to get their heads back on straight, but for some reason, the one has a halo of infallibility when he could possibly be the teams largest liability, at least defensively.

NOTE: I really don’t like Greene anymore so my opinion is 100% biased.
