Seems they have the right idea Re: player being most valuable to their team. No Giroux, no Kucherov.

Good luck Taylor.

Without these finalists, the three teams involved would not even sniff the playoffs. And these three players bring plenty of  the intangibles every team needs.  That's a good definition of what an MVP is, the whole package.

The best player has the best value.

Yes, so much this.  The spirit of what this award is SUPPOSED to be is properly represented with these selections.

So happy for Taylor that his most fine season is being recognized.  Hope he wins.

I'm kinda refusing to accept that Hall will actually win it - sounds like a defeatist attitude, but I don't want to be livid when it's given to MacKinnon.

Hall is the obvious choice.

It’s so close between Hall and MacKinnon, imo. With only 4 points separating them, I honestly think Hall should get it for the gap between him and Nico, and that ridiculous 26GM point streak.

what voters needs to look at in order for Hall to win is the gap between him and the 2nd scorer on the team and his point streak late in the season when the team needed it the most. Those 2 things will be the main arguments.

Also Hall makes suchs a great story. Was traded from a sh!t team after trying to win there for so long, was still crushed to be traded and he was reborn through another team after a good honest talk with a GM. That's a success story that would be great for the NHL
