That's my point. They've both made it clear they don't want to re-sign in Columbus, and the BJs are content to take one last ride with them. That's already a mistake to me; but adding another rental smells disaster.

If Duchene resigns the trade isn't that big of a deal imo. I at least commend them for going all in this year though. I mean when's the next time they're team will be this good if they lose Panarin and Bob? They better go for it

All they need is to make the playoffs. Then anything can happen. Who the hell cares if this doesn't narrow the gap between them and Tampa? What has Tampa won with that godly roster come playoffs? Nada. Nothing to show for it. Just make the playoffs and anything can happen.

Yeah like we made the playoffs last year. Played tampa and nothing happened lol

Pure class? Lmfao dude played 2 seasons there. I'd be embarrassed if we did this nonsense for someone like that.

When the fvck did everyone who ever gets traded start getting a tribute video? It’s ridiculous. Duchene was barely in Ottawa long enough to take a dump.

Or you can be the Mets and take it to another level...where you put up a tribute video for a guy who BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF YOU for years and years and years in Chipper Jones.  Yes they actually did that.

That’s like the Devils doing it for Lundqvist. Whick of course would only be acceptable if the “highlights” were all negative and played over Metallica’s “King Nothing”. That would be the greatest thing that ever happened.

I don't even like nor watch baseball but that reminded me of every team giving Jeter gifts and a send off. Absolutely ridiculous and I would have booed the hell out of it.
