Good for him momentum will carry into next season Douche I had his over/under for goals at 25...provided he played in most of his team’s games. He wound up with 16 in 64 GP (a pace of about 20 per 82 GP, which is pure sh!t from a guy who appears to offer not much else at this point)...he has share of apologists who rarely take him to task on anything, but from the bits I read, it sounded like he was a lot of the problem. Just wish it was the Rangers that were stuck with him.

Nicomo
So much for him only be interested in coaching a contender. I guess it’s appropriate that his old ass is moving down to Miami though.

I mean I feel like we've been saying this year after year - but Florida has the tools in the right positions to be a relevant team in the very near future. If they land Panarin and/or Bob this offseason.. yikes. Panarin loved playing for JQ. You'd have to think Florida is almost a lock to get him now. And no state tax down there, only have to worry about the feds taking your paycheck but no doubt, if they add bob and the bread man, they should easily make the playoffs. Hell if Lou wasn’t so banged up, they probably make it this year Edited April 8, 2019 by jagknife

Devilsfan118
So the rumor on HFBoards is that a pretty well-connected person said that Nashville is 100% looking to move Subban this summer. If the price was right, and by right I mean pretty low, would you consider it? 3 years at 9M per left on his current contract.

You have to imagine Severson or Butcher going the other way, maybe even Vatanen. Depending on what else would have to be in the mix, I'm not sure I'd want to do it. I still think the road to improving this team is through the draft and free agency. With the draft only being a few months away, that's our next order of business, and then we'll see if we are able to land any big name free agents, for whatever reason(s) they might want to come here. Those options are free to us. Anything else will cost us, and I think, unfortunately, we're still in a position where we can't really afford to part with many pieces, at least not the ones that would be coveted by many other teams.
