sundstrom Posted February 11, 2019 Share Posted February 11, 2019 this love for johannson - not me. and it's not really about the health - honestly, i just don't see all that good a player there. he is so weak on the boards and in traffic. i know he's supposedly mr. zone entry but i see plenty of failed entries as well. he hasn't really been able to mesh well with anyone on the roster for any length of time (his health does of course have something to do with that). I mean - if he wants a two year deal @ $4MM per - I supposed why not. but he'll get more and that's not something i want a part of. under no circumstances can you not trade him this month. if he likes it here enough, or if you really want him, you'll get him back over the summer. I wouldn’t give him away like Edmonton did with Maroon at the last minute of the trade deadline, as much as I want to do our best to land Hughes or Kakko.
