I was on their shows and Josh was good, but on lives he didnt create so much energy how much john did(thanks youtube that we have there too). and now i just need to wait for it. By the way(*blink) all the best to hall and thanks for playoff and mvp season, now that is a bright page of our history.

HellOnICE
Lebrun: There's a hard 1st-round pick in the Hall trade PLUS another conditional 1st-round pick IF the Coyotes re-sign Hall AND win a playoff round. The conditional pick becomes a third-round pick if neither of those things happen. And a 2nd-round pick if one of those 2 things happen Edited December 16, 2019 by HellOnICE

NJDevils1214
Honestly, that is better than I expected. Hopefully the Hall re-signs there and we get 2 firsts out of it.
Muevelos
Some people here seem to be insiders, seems like some know for a fact thar we has a better offer? We can bash Shero for this all we want, whatever, but we are always praising him for every other trade he makes. All of a sudden he's bad? No, get a grip, I get it, humans are emotional but still. Sheros track record with trades with us tells us this was the best offer he had. He deserves that benefit, Edited December 16, 2019 by CarterforPresident

For all of our sakes, this Kevin Bahl better be the next Zdeno Chara.

DevilMinder
Honestly, a real first rounder and a promising stay at home D is better than I was expecting at this point when the speculation really hit this weekend. Bahl is on the Canadian Juniors nationals team, he can't be that bad.

Chuck the Duck
That was the best offer the Devils got for Hall. It's a typical offer for a high end rental player. Shero should have allowed teams to speak with Hall's agent RE: an extension if he expected a return better than this, although that was likely to be a futile game considering he seems hellbent on going FA on 7/1. Unfortunately, this sets back the rebuild another 2 years IMO. So disappointing after the optimism that we had this offseason.

We don't know the real story on where Darren Ferris is on this - we don't know if he didn't want to talk to other teams as well. The rebuild was already set back, but I'm hopeful we can get the kids going now.

I don’t think it sets back the rebuild given we have a lot of young talent that can take the natural next step in growth come next season.
