Every time I hear or see anything about Boucher, I always think of the leader of the Crazies who used to post up and down back in the day how Boucher is going to be a top goal scorer in the NHL.

Good times.

Who would have thought the “leader of the Crazies” could be so wrong.

Looks like JD is heading home to the Rags:

Not surprising.  It was largely being telegraphed for the past 2-4 weeks that this was going to happen.  JD has done some solid work in his time in St. Louis and Columbus.  That is unfortunately not good for us Devils fans.

I would have agreed with you on Bratt being overrated at the beginning of last season.  However in his limited time this past season he did make a dent and seemed more consistent.  He just has to stay healthier.

Wood is another who is in a prove it year with Zacha.  You can also probably throw Q into that mix and possibly McLeod.

Surely Tampa couldn't afford to sign Karlsson? Capgeek has them with about $8m in space with a few players to sign. And if being in San Jose has been a problem for his wife and family I can't see how going to Tampa would make that better.

Wow.  Hard to say how the Lightning could get better, but landing Karlsson would do it.  And if he went to the Rangers, fvck that.

Imagine if the Rags get Panarin, Karlsson, and Kakko in one offseason...

They’d never be able to afford their young and emerging core if they gave huge deals to panarin and karlsson.

Their young core, whatever that means, isn’t proven at all (unless I’m missing the sarcasm).  They’ll be very weak up the middle unless Kakko can play center or if we muck it up and don’t take Hughes.  Even with Karlsson if that actually happens, their D will not be deep at all for a couple of years until someone like Miller can establish himself, and that’s not a certainty.

If Shestorkin is not the second coming that Rags fans think, they will be in serious trouble.
