I saw the Joker movie today, a non spoiler but the opening scene where he's promoting that business is what I saw them film right near the arena last year. There's also some other scenes in the movie that are right near the arena too.

Oh and LETS GO DEVILS!!!

What did you think overall? I loved it. Phoenix was amazing as per usual. Very disturbing movie.

I really enjoyed it, I was happy that it was very different from the other movie/tv versions of the Joker and he totally deserves an Oscar nomination at the very least. I don't want to ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet but I really wish I knew they were looking for extras in Newark I totally would have tried to do it. I found out after the fact. The scene near market and Halsey was fantastic.

Also another non spoiler but they used rock n roll part 2 in the movie! Lol I wonder how the royalties work for that because this movie is gonna make a ton of money. I wonder if they found a way to avoid paying Gary Glitter anything or if they just didn't care.

All I keep hearing is people saying how great it looks, but all I’ve seen is a commercial with a clown dancing on a staircase.

Maybe there’s a trailer or something I have missed.

Personally I try not to watch any trailers/commercials for any movie that I'm remotely interested in seeing cause they generally give away way too much of the movie. I'd rather go in more blind as to what's going to happen.

If you have been able to avoid Joker commercials, I commend you. They air as much as the Barnabas Health/NJ Devil commercial, except during everything, not just games.

Don't mind these lines at all. They're not the ones I wished for, but I get them. Gusev is going to have to do a lot to prevent himself from becoming a powerplay specialist. He's got a hell of a lot of offensive skill, we knew that going in, but he also is a defensive liability and, we weren't sure how that would play out going into the season either. In Hughes' case, one of my first thoughts was to put Wood with him. He may be a moron who makes mistakes, but he's big AND fast, and can help power the Hughes line forward while keeping up with Hughes. Wood can work where Hayden and Simmonds can't. Additionally, while Wood had his share of problems yesterday, he was also really dangerous when out there...in a good way.

Don’t know how anyone could have any issue with the lines, Hynes will change them the second we have a lead.

Who was our other coach a while ago that was famous for meddling - was it Sutter? Lemaire? Maybe Julien? I can't remember.

But I remember being very frustrated watching him tinker.
