Very disturbing movie. I really enjoyed it, I was happy that it was very different from the other movie/tv versions of the Joker and he totally deserves an Oscar nomination at the very least. I don't want to ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet but I really wish I knew they were looking for extras in Newark I totally would have tried to do it. I found out after the fact. The scene near market and Halsey was fantastic. Also another non spoiler but they used rock n roll part 2 in the movie! Lol I wonder how the royalties work for that because this movie is gonna make a ton of money. I wonder if they found a way to avoid paying Gary Glitter anything or if they just didn't care. Gusev is going to have to do a lot to prevent himself from becoming a powerplay specialist. He's got a hell of a lot of offensive skill, we knew that going in, but he also is a defensive liability and, we weren't sure how that would play out going into the season either. In Hughes' case, one of my first thoughts was to put Wood with him. He may be a moron who makes mistakes, but he's big AND fast, and can help power the Hughes line forward while keeping up with Hughes. Wood can work where Hayden and Simmonds can't. Additionally, while Wood had his share of problems yesterday, he was also really dangerous when out there...in a good way.
