Watch this team now crumble and fold like a cheap suit. They quit the first moment of adversity.

Anyone have an uno reverse card handy? Think we can still get Hovart for Schneider.

That was amazing. Not only did Mueller screen his own goalie, puck hits him in the back and falls down for the easy tap in.

Gotta save that timeout for the next game, right Hynes?

Game 82 well take 50 timeouts in a row in a 4-3 loss

11 x 2 = anywhere between 44 and 46 depending on the day.

Okay, here’s the solution: someone needs to bad a big ole moose.  We tranq it, put it in a Devil’s sweater, and we throw some goalie pads on it.  Then you just plop it in the goalie crease.  Ta da, our new starting goaltender.  The horns alone should give us a save percentage as good as Schneider....

Edit: Canadian Devils fans, this will have to be your task.  We are short on moose in Jersey.

Skates slow, acts tough but hasn't really had a fight since the Rangers game... in pre season, unless I'm missing a regular season tilt, and is 1 for the season on shots.

Not bad for $5m

Is that the takeaway? That Hall’s feelings are hurt? Or is it that this team has dropped another two points?

Have to agree, I don’t give a fvck about Hall’s feelings at this point.

This is a shame.  The team was starting to look decent and that it had sustained a little confidence, and now I feel this road trip is going to kill any and all of that.  Not only are we very simply being out-coached, but we're also just not nearly as skilled as Edmonton.  The mistakes we make we end up paying for.  Prior to this trip I thought Cory would play well enough to continue somewhat of an even split with Blackwood, but not now.  He just doesn't look sharp, and I'd rather give the younger guy who still has a future a chance to hone his game, rather than basically give away games for a guy who seemingly can't buy a win.

Given how Vancouver has played lately I really don't see how we win on Sunday, and if we don't, a 3 game losing streak is absolutely the last thing this team needs - if that happens I fear it'll turn into a 5 or 6 game losing streak, and the tank will essentially begin.  I hope I'm wrong.

Hynes still has to go. Goaltending still an issue. If Vats is out for any length of time, we might be fvcked.

If they come out as lackluster (PG-13 language there) as they did last night in the 3rd, I'll be okay if we give Hynes the old Gerrard Galant.
