"New Jersey did it the right way and called us first and asked if they could talk with our head coach," team manager Sven Leuenberger confirms to Klaus Zaugg (Watson). "We allowed it, but we made it very clear that we weren't releasing him from his contract." Rikard Grönborg has no NHL out clause in his contract. That was by design as the ZCS Lions wanted some consistency for their team. However, it is no secret that it is the Swede's goal to coach in the NHL. Given New Jersey's interest that might happen sooner rather than later. You don't win the world cup by being medioc or lucky ... Especially in a world dominate by Finland, Canada and US.With him at the headcoach, our players will really use their speed and make them a proper weapon. We know we have fast players but we barely use it !
