I like it overall, but I like my goalie helmets to be more team oriented. Red and black or team logos of some kind are strongly encouraged. If we punt off our dead-weight (which I’m all for, by the way), we bring up your guys who will become accustomed to losing and the cycle of pathetic underperforming is in danger of maintaining. Of course I don’t have the simple answer but the way I see it, outside of Kulikov, our UFAs can be traded for the collective sum of District 5 from Mighty Ducks. I understand Palms’ value is plummeting game after game, GTG hasn’t done anything of note this year, Vats is a shell of his former useful self (and literally laughing about it), and Murray has apparently murdered Lindy’s favorite puppy or smashed his collectors ceramic Buffalo Wing to never play again... Again, not saying pull immediate triggers, outside of shooting nASS into the sun to remove that last perennial loser from the DBA era, but this team didn’t just lose its identity over the COVID break, they lost everything that made them different from years past. As a saying goes, you can get by if one of your special teams isn't good, but the other is...the 2002-03 Devils were dead last in PP% (under 12%, if you can believe that), but were beastly in the PK (over 87% and 1st overall).
