Not only a HOF’er, a 3-time Cup winner as a player, plus two more as an assistant in Pittsburgh. Dude knows what a winning environment looks like.

Yep. The more the better. I’d still love to see Patty and his two rings join the staff.

I would hope he has an open invitation whenever he’s ready. Even his brief interactions with guys like Gusev, Bratt, Zacha, etc seem to help a lot.

And, a Hall if Famer from outside the organization, so there’s no “what if we have to fire him” concern. 

Honestly I’m pretty excited the more I think about it. Successful as both a player and as a coach, that is a pretty good background.
