I’m sure there were WAY more Rangers fans in our building than Devils fans in theirs...that always happens.

When we swept them in 2006, Devils fans overtook the Garden. Doesn’t happen much, but there were a ton of Devils fans there for that clinching game.

And did they sit on their hands and encourage the Devils not to celebrate on someone else’s ice?

I’m thinking not lol.

Who cares if they did or not?  The bottom line is that I don’t want those motherfvckers celebrating on our ice, and I’m fully aware of how hypocritical that is, and I don’t give a sh!t. fvck the Rags.

Nobody wants to watch the team that just beat their team celebrate. But it’s completely ridiculous to expect it not to happen or to hold a grudge over it. He won, of course he celebrated.

That said, of course he can still be upset by it, and fvck the Rangers.

And they signed Cirelli 10 minutes after the Kucherov announcement 🤣

i think that might give them some cap relief as he will be on LTIR. So they would be able to sign their players for the season and figure out what to do as the season progress

Never should’ve left.  His second stint in the NHL was pretty much a disaster.

such a crazy story.

Few weeks ago we heard about Radulov's wife hiring a detective to follow him when he was in MTL.

Now this. And he met the owner of that bank at a casino and convinced him and a few other athletes to put their money at his bank and promised good things.

Like... how sketchy lol

Not that I have any money, but I would be skeptical of any bank that actively solicited my business. Unless it was like my local Chase bank or some other well-known bank, I would never do that.

It could be an example of being rich doesn’t make you smart. Or, he could’ve done everything right, checked them out, etc., and then he got screwed. Really sucks.

That’s unbelievable. 59 points in 69 games last year and he gets a PTO???

EDIT: Ahh...from the article:

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger says the move could be for cap management purposes and that an agreement with Hoffman could already have been reached.”

Apparently not - Tampa just traded Paquette, Coburn, and a 2nd round pick to Ottawa for Gaborik and Nilsson, both of whom are also LTIR.  We all knew this would happen eventually... I guess they got what they wanted (a Cup), so it's hard to say it wasn't worth it.  Most of their corp is still in tact too - they might actually get a shot at the Cup a few more times before their roster eventually unravels due to cost shedding.

yeah it has to cause obviously it makes no sense for him to take that gamble, especially now
