Absolute legend

Just to clarify, no Nico, no Bratt, no Vatanen, took 3 of 4 points against the best team in the division.

Hughes looks really confident which is what we need.

He looks like a different player through 4 periods. If he keeps that going once Nico and Bratt come back, this could be a fun team to watch.

Retiring O’Ree’s number is a class move...but why do it when nobody can attend? Why not just wait?

O'Ree is already 85. They might just want to make sure they do it while he's still alive and it's already long overdue.

Did someone spend the day with Wood yesterday to tell him how to play hockey? Because he looks like a different player today also.

Great second straight game from Wood. Besides penalties. He start to be better puck handler and this help him from the start. If he will fix his penalty story it will make him very good noticable player.

Too early probably, but anyone else wondering if Will Butcher will have a place with this team if Ty Smith keeps playing as well as he is? I think he covers the smallish scoring D-Man role.

I think they have a good argument that Kulikov caused that. He kind of swept his leg a little.

I think I'd still rather have Butcher over Tennyson.  But he is definitely moving towards being expendable.

I’ll take it, but I’m not sure we didn’t get away with one.
