DevilMinder 1,309
Going to be more than one game if it really spread through the roster.
jagknife 3,619
So Mac gave it to Zajac, Zajac gave it to Palms, Palms gave it to Johnsson, Kuokkanen, McLeod and Zacha... Clearly it was done to get Dell, Vats and Nico back before playing Pitt. Well played, Fitz, well played. Some masterful roster management! Devilsfan118 3,049
I mean, doesn't that make most of Buffalo's active roster exposed, having played against multiple sick players yesterday?

That’s what I don’t get. Technically all of our players, all of their players, and the officials have all been exposed. What good does it do to cancel our game and let them go infect everyone?
DevilMinder 1,309
Not one Sabre on list either today. Crazy

I don't get how Buffalo can play tomorrow either, not sure why the league would risk them playing the Islanders and infecting them as well but certainly seems like they will only be reactive and not proactive with this stuff.
NJDfan1711 1,810
This sucks. Hope all the players and everyone is OK, but I imagine this probably hinders the team a bit, maybe even a ton. Guys just starting to get some chemistry together, and young guys just getting NHL experience in general, and now they have to sit out a week+. I assume they're not allowed to practice/train? pumpkin cutter 517
Gosh darn it. Knew this was a possibility, but was hoping we’d dodge it. Speedy recovery boys.
Chimaira_Devil_#9 863
All the guys and their families being ok is all that matters at this stage. It was inevitable this was going to happen. Interesting that the Northern Division is now the only one not to have had to miss any games.
MB3 5,542
This feels like a season-ender as far as playoffs are concerned. Unlikely anyway, but so many sick players and no chemistry developing, days/weeks without practice, in a short season? Go get Luke Hughes.
NJDevils1214 3,170
Blah, Devils hockey just came back. What poopy circumstances for eveyone, especially them of course. I'm going to be having an awful week of work because of month end and NJD hockey was going to keep me going
Nicomo 6,581
On the bright side maybe Nico will be back by the time they’re ready to play.

SterioDesign 3,311
Okay this sucks but here's the silver lining This means we're postponing games... which means Nico won't miss as many games as he would have without this.

And another reminder of just how far away we remain from “old normal”. But yeah, as much as I was enjoying this start (and feeling passionate about watching Devils hockey), that takes a distant backseat to the health of the players. Just hope they can all get through this.
