Now Lindor has an apparent oblique injury on top of it lol

This is so 2007-ish, and probably gonna finish the same way with the Phillies being the ones to take advantage of us pissing away a gift division.

Mets are about to go 12-16 in their last 28.  They’re frauds.  The big question of course is can anyone else actually play well long enough to take advantage?  We’ll see if Sandy wakes up long enough to try to give this team a much-needed jolt.

Diaz is your classic bad team closer.  He’s not worthy of closing for a legit contender.

No Lindor for the forseeable future, no Jake for the immediate future, no bullpen...at this point might as well be fvcking sellers if you're losing to the god damn Pirates - and from 5-0 and 6-0 up no less.

I’m fvcking done with Diaz.  Mets should be too.

Sandy, this is the part where you wake up and show a fvcking pulse.  Just once.

I mean what are the odds of something like this to a sh!tbag team...5-0, then 6-0. How the hell is it always the Mets just inventing new and historic ways of choking. This is unfathomable

Hey Sandy…for ONCE, don’t let fvcking losers hang around forever…Diaz needs to be toast after this season at the latest.  Enough is a fvcking NUFF!  Diaz is as worthless and gutless as they come.

Someone brought up the rain game against the Padres from 2015 on another board, this really does feel like THAT kind of meltdown.  Not sure there's a Ces walking through that door this time though.

Very similar, though then we were not in 1st...but I don't think we were as injury plagued either, especially with the Lindor and deGrom news. Today was like a 1-2-3 knockout combo almost. Seems like a lot of the good fortune we enjoyed earlier this season will now start to even out

They need to go out and get Kimbrel. Like absolute top top priority. There will be a lot more or this from Diaz. We KNOW what the real Diaz is we've seen far too much of it

Sandy‘s probably already thinking about 2022.  Because it’s always about next year or some other time with Rip Van Sandy.  Diaz will get to keep closing games, and Kimbrel won’t even be a consideration.  Because Sandy wants to make sure the Mets don’t give up anything that might help them win in 2026.  Can’t ever be about the present

At some point I would hope Zack Scott puts his imprint on the team.  I wasn't counting on it in the offseason after a shotgun marriage but now that he's had a few months in the job hopefully this will be his deadline and not just being a mouthpiece for Sandyball.

He's had a good year but man Walker didn't come to compete today.  That was David Cone in '89 over at first base type of brain fart

And fvck Stroman too, he probably got these a$$holes riled up with that silly shouting match with Nogowski on Friday.
