NJDevs4978
The sad part is LaFleur actually did call a good game otherwise...but he picked THAT moment to get all conservative?! Yeah I definitely had Gregg Williams cover zero flashbacks too, especially on the play that actually won it for Tampa though it wasn't a cover zero blitz, you still can't let the guy get behind you from thirty yards out. I can understand going for it (I would've kicked a FG) but to call that play is just stupidity beyond comprehension. It's Gregg Williams level from last year. How do you call a sneak on 4th and 2? I've never seen something like that. They may get better next year but I don't think Saleh will be the guy to finally bring them to the promised...and we will certainly be needing a new OC. Can't make those kinds of calls. Just can't Ulbrich too. He's braindead and needs to be gone at seasons end Right call to go for it with Tampa needing to go 90-plus yards and no timeouts if the Jets don't make it. A QB sneak is a head-scratcher of a play. Still your defense needs to hold there. That's the worst part.
NJDevs4978
LOL that graphic just before the Bills' last TD was so telling...360 total yards to 60, it was absurd the Jets were even in this game in the 4th quarter. Wilson does hold the ball too long at times but holy hell it's not like our #5-7 receivers are getting open either.

Bit late for this but why the hell would you start a guy against a team that's at home in a hostile environment, something to play for and can absolutely pin their ears back and are going out there to crush your QB. It's not like the Jets had any incentive to play spoiler either. The Jets were down 74 receivers this game and were left with guys off the street it seemed. Zach isn't going to grow, learn, or make any kind of strides in bleak, hopeless situation like this. He got sacked like 8-9 times. They really should've just thrown Flacco in there. There's nothing to gain from a game such as this for Wilson
'7'
Bit of an old article, but this just keeps happening. Can't even put into words how bad this teams luck is. It's hard to grow, develop and take any steps forward when this bizarre epidemic won't end. I do recall the 49ers coming in a few years ago and stating how bad the Metlife turf is...so there could be something to that. https://thejetpress.com/posts/ny-jets-injured-team-nfl-2022 It seems like every year the NY Jets are hit with an unprecedented string of injuries. Sure, every NFL team is forced to deal with injuries, but many Jets fans certainly believe that their team is hit harder than most. And they would be right. The Jets have had an almost unparalleled string of injury luck over the last three seasons. Once again, they rank dead-last in the NFL when it comes to being healthy. Using a statistic called "Banged Up Score" or B.U.S. — a statistic that calculates how injuries impact overall team and player performance — the Jets are the most injured team in the entire NFL.
