After having all the space in the world to rack up video game stats all year playing 5 other sh!tty Canadian teams, all of the big boys looked like they had trouble adjusting to the tight checking in the playoffs, which is where the Oilers and Leafs lack of any type of depth was exposed Matthews and especially Marner will take all of the heat this off-season but how the hell do the Leafs continue on with Kyle Dubas as GM? It’s one thing for their fans to anoint this core as the second coming of the Blackhawks dynasty before they’ve done a thing but for Dubas to have paid them as such is unforgivable. If that wasn’t bad enough, he’s done nothing to surround those skilled players with any type of help other than signing fan boy Tavares. He’s somewhere between 2 and 10 years too late on having guys like Thornton, Spezza and Simmons fill out the roster and actually all be on the ice in a Game 7 situation.
