That just sounds like a dude that is nervous and scared to take a hit. Nylander bailed on a hit and also put one out of play in the Montreal series as well. Can't help but wonder if the Leafs take that big chance and decide that the core is just flawed enough that it's time to move one of the big names (maybe for another big name, instead of a package) in an effort to change the vibe. Their offseason should be plenty busy...12 players become UFAs. Some will clearly not be back (can't imagine Simmonds, Thornton and Spezza will be re-signed)...most of them are not of the "pricey" variety. Not sure how many holes they'll be able to plug from within, but at the NHL level, they have 8 forwards, 5 defensemen, and one goalie signed for next year.
