Lol...

damn, it’s depressing to see a fan that has obviously been a die hard fan for 14 months just walk away from the game

Made me actually lol, not just a written lol.

Also, they’re deep in the playoffs and he’s acting like they have been a disaster. That guy is a total douche.

EDIT: I just read in the Post that the guy returned, put his jersey and hat back on, and then later did the whole act again. So he is also an attention whore.

Not watching but does it look like DeBoer played himself with this goalie carousel?

I mean, Lehner didn’t play bad last game, and Vegas won, so DeBoer won that gamble. Tonight he went back to Fleury, and it isn’t going very well.

Further evidence that playing Lehner wasn’t the worst mistake ever.

Montreal is one game away from the Finals. This is batsh!t.

The worst record of any team to make the playoffs, coming out what is considered the weakest division. Once you get in, anything can happen.

Do you agree that the calling of penalties is the worst by the refs in all the playoffs games this season?

That's what I think and it is as if the league is controlling through the refs which teams will make the finals. The ref is looking right at the action and does nothing, he looks the other way.

The refs have been bad for some time in the NHL but not so obvious as it is this playoff season IMO.

Actually I think the refs are getting worse in all the major sports I watch and ruining the sports.

Just my opinion. Your thoughts?

That reminds of a piece of paper one of the neighbors left in everyone's mailbox to join the nextdoor app which I ignored. I can only imagine what's being said on there and I have no interest in any neighborhood drama. I'm sure its good for people who had a pet run away but I'm sure the rest is absolute nonsense that I want no part of lol

My wife is on NextDoor.  It's the same as those FB community groups.  Everyone complains about everything and no one wants to discuss/work things out in person like normal people.

In the NHL, it is not what you do but who you know to get a refereeing job.  AHL has overall better refs because you have to earn your way up to get to that level.

Down here they used the next door app last September to run supplies to people who lost a ton during Sally. It was pretty cool to see for a change. The only real complaining is about the one family who does 45 mph on our street. I almost threw down with the dad and I threw a rock at the wife’s car when she almost hit me while I was running because she was texting.

If they could use it to settle disputes via a cage match, I would sign up immediately.

I love the neighborhood facebook groups cuz am nosy. It is the time of year "Is that fireworks or gunshots season!" I also have the citizen app which is citizens reporting crime. So that is a fun one living in Baltimore City.

Yup, another classic. We also have a lot of “why did I hear a helicopter” or “that plane was very low”. We’re in the flight pattern for Newark Airport.

Best one is WITHOUT FAIL - EVERY DAY - someone will post on the NextDoor app:

"Saw fox in my yard"

Okay? And? I saw a squirrel on my deck, let me tell everyone.  You can definitely tell when a bunch of Bennies move into your area.

+1 for use of the word Bennies to describe people.

benny! it's a pretty common phrase along the jersey shore; it stands for Bayonne, Elizabeth, Newark and New York people who flood the jersey shore all summer.

My amazing, wonderful, docile grandmother flies a "BGH" (Benny Go Home) flag outside of her house in the summer.
