Actually, here's the correct numbers: Rossi: AHL: 24 GP, 8 G, 17 A, 25 Pts, +3 NHL: 2 GP, 0 G, 0 A, 0 Pts, -1, 5 SOG, 15:53 ATOI Holtz: AHL: 14 GP, 7 G, 8 A, 15 Pts, E NHL: 7 GP, 0 G, 2 A, 2 Pts, -3, 11 SOG, 11:42 ATOI I'm sure there's metrics that better flesh out the above, but at this point, the samples are so puny that there's no declarations to be made, really. They bring different skillsets anyway...one is supposed to be a playmaking center, the other will hopefully become a pure sniper of a winger. It's so early to be saying this, but I could Holtz scoring some real "Holy shiiiiiiiiit!" kinds of goals...but only winding up with 25 or so of them a year, because the rest of the time he's firing pure logoseekers or missing the net by a mile...the kind of guy that you keep thinking will eventually score over 30 goals when it all comes together, but he just never seems to get there. Not trying to make any definitive declarations...I'd like to see him at least get a couple of years with the big club (when he's ready, which isn't now) before even starting to make any determinations. Just that based on what I've seen in the very early going, that it wouldn't shock me if he became a guy who has that cannon shot and who can score pretty too, but somehow doesn't find as much net as his highlight-reel goals suggests he should.
