So some guys are going to wear black and red and play against some other guys who also have some red in their uniforms. One of 'em has to win, because in the NHL, someone has to. And then there's three guys who do something behind the Devils' bench...allegedly. Very hard to tell most nights. Wake me up when it's October, and hope begins anew. Err, LGMFD! There's still things worth watching (Nico has a shot at career highs in goals, assists, and points, etc), but it feels like any life that this team had left more or less died with Jack's injury. Devils are wearing their alternates again tonight. This is the second to last game they are scheduled to wear them (last is the 4/29 season closing game). Yeah in the end it turned out a lot people do indeed like them...I really didn't think they would take off the way that they have. And I won't be buying one either...like I've said, for me the crest is a deal-breaker. Also wish it wasn't so derivative of the Blackhawk's 2019 alternates...but I'll admit it, if a black and white logo (with a dash of red) was the crest, I'd almost definitely buy one.
