Let's go Colorado! As much as it pains me to say. I think the Avs are probably the one team the Rangers dont match up well against. In goal yea, but that's about it.

Yeah, the Avs are an absolute wagon. I’m going to try not to worry too much unless they suffer some major injuries.

I’m actually done watching. I’m fed up with watching literally the same game every time the fvcking Rags are involved. Call me if Tampa decides to man up and play like Tampa.

If Tampa doesn’t score the next goal I’ll be out as well. I want to watch The Boys season 3 anyway lol.

To this day I still think blowing that home opener against Winnipeg  when we had a 4-0 lead broke something in the universe and sent us into the some kind of hellish hockey timeline.

Like when Biff gave his young self the Sports Almanac in BTTF2

I swear - bias aside - I haven’t watched a single Rags game this postseason that hasn’t bored me to tears.

They're opportunistic. That's it. They literally cash in on the few chances they get.  The rest of their game is sh!t.

When a team totally shuts you down, it can look awfully boring. This game is a clinic in team defense. Tampa has very little giddyup in their game, too.

Uninspiring effort by Tampa. No real threat to Shesterkin, and no urgency on offense or defense.

It’s so insanely frustrating that we were in the finals in 2012 and have been a dumpster fire ever since, and the Rags were in the finals in 2014, in the conference finals in 2015, apologized to their fan base for sucking in 2018, and are now about to be back in the finals while our once proud franchise needs an analytics team to figure out how to turn a door knob.

The over-reliance on advanced stats is beyond frustrating. The fact an NHL team thinks the Moneyball approach is the sole way to assess a championship caliber team is, quite frankly, pathetic. Analytics only tells a fraction of the story, it is important, but at the end of the day, actual performance and numbers should be the heavy emphasis.

Add into it that until just a few weeks ago, this team STILL showed blind loyalty even with poor performance/results to certain members also set the team back.

The Rangers went scorched earth with their coaches, something the Devils USED to do, and then the fact that EVERYONE wants to go to the Garden, regardless of how bad the team sucks, and it easy to see why they rebounded so well. I really wish some players would look at a damn map and realize you can still have NY and play in Jersey...

Artemi Panarin: ‘I’ll only play for the Rangers’. Adam Fox: ‘I’ll only play for the Rangers’. Jacob Trouba: ‘I’ll only accept a trade to the Rangers’. Those three guys alone accelerated their rebuild, because of the fact they would only play in NYC. Easier to rebuild quickly when you play in a city that does the recruiting for you. And to their credit, they’ve drafted well too, with sh!tstainkin, Miller, Chytil, etc. And they hired a very good coach as well. But make no mistake- they aren’t where they are without the NYC factor.

Absolutely true. It’s just frustrating. Their “fan” base is coming out of the woodwork. People who can’t name a Ranger are already doing victory laps and the NY media just remembered that hockey exists.

I said it before too: the NHL and ESPN BADLY needed this to happen. The biggest market out there the first year ESPN gets hockey back and now people care. Their presentation all around sucks, but it’s a massive lucky break for them.

That being said: lest go western conference!
