The missing piece on this team is a Tom Wilson type player. Opposing teams can not continue to get away with taking runs at Jack, Bratt, and Nico.

Disagree. Everyone has been saying that since the Caps win the Cup. Those types of players are so rare and we got Miles Wood. He's just not either Tkachuk or a Tom Wilson.

Everyone wants a Tom Wilson, but they end up with a coverted D Mason Geertson.

Did you miss the replay of the cross check to his ribs? This was not normal Nico face.

When he comes off for any shift it is. He grimaces a lot and it's not like he was trying to sell anything since they were already on the PP. Seems to be gutting it out right now.

Also I was quoting Mfitz, kind of joking.

He’s just one example. Miles Wood can’t be the toughest guy on your team. That won’t fly in the playoffs.

If Nico is not back for the 2nd they need to break Watson in half.

Agreed, can’t let opponents take ridiculous cheap shots like that.  That guy needs to be missing teeth…fvcker.

I'm so fvcking angry with that cross check Nico. Dirty sh!t. We really could use an enforcer but those are hard to find

Whether an enforcer will prevent those types of hits I think it’s debatable.  I put the onus on the league.  There is absolutely no reason why a penalty was not called and why they don’t crack down on those types of hits.  The league is now a speed and skill game.

It still happened when all teams had multiple enforcers, so it would not prevent anything.
