you can tell he's playin different this year. i don't blame him. he is making a lot of dumb passes this year. not worried at all.

I think he looks less visible because the rest of the ram is actually doing stuff around him and he isn’t trying to win games on his own.

If bratt wants more than jack and nico he can gtfo.

You continue to be wrong on this. Guys like Dawson Mercer and Yegor Sharongovich can not be the best wingers on a legit contender. Bratt leaving would create a MASSIVE hole on this roster.

This means @pumpkin cutterstopped by the dispensary again before puck drop.

man you guys think jack is even a tiny bit invisible? feels like when he’s on the ice every single person in the building knows — something I only really can say about a handful of NHLers.

No doubt. He’s the definition of an electric player. And he could easily have about half a dozen more points right now if it wasn’t for stone hands Haula.

Yeah Jack will occasionally have a bad giveaway but he’s been largely terrific…and yeah, Haula has definitely hurt some teammates’ point totals.

Invisible, no. But is he the dominant player on this team, responsible for most of our good plays and scoring like he was when healthy last year? No he isn’t. People were saying if Jack wasn’t healthy this year, we would have no chance. Do people still feel that way? I don’t.

It’s not that he is playing at any less of a level, we just have multiple guys doing that job as well, and point-wise, even better.

I mean, I don’t want to pay him more. I would appreciate it if he didn’t charge us more. But I get the feeling it’s going to take more, and I’m not quite ready to say no before hearing what his number is.

He actually is though. He was our leading scorer during the 13 game winning streak. Not Bratt. Not Nico. Jack.

Losing him over a million here or there would be insane. If he wants 8.5 or 9 (more than Jack and Nico) just give it to him. He’s worth it. He make’s literally everyone he plays with better.

I’m not quite sure why you bolded half of a sentence, I think you may have misunderstood. He has not been responsible for most of our scoring. In fact, he isn’t first or second on the team in scoring. I don’t know what the scoring was during the 13 games, but I would be willing to bet that holds true.

I feel like the number he is going to want is $9.5m, and I think I would be inclined to listen rather than telling him to fvck off as suggested.

You said he’s not scoring like last year - he is.

No, I said he is not responsible for most of our good plays and scoring like he was last year. Like I said, the fact that you bolded half of a sentence made it clear that you didn’t get what I was saying.
