RizzMB30
fvcking Severson. What a low effort play late in the game. All he had to do was keep skating with the guy but he hit the ice and make a weak attempt to get the puck. That's the kind of sh!t that Jacques Lemaire would bench immediately and Severson would be healthy scratched next game. I guess Lemaire's teams wouldn't be up 5-0, but still. Puckbuster
Who commits a penalty with less than 3 minutes to play and a 5-0 lead? A bonehead, that’s who.

The Red Wings deserved better too…they gotta be thinking “How in fvck did we just lose this game by four goals?! We weren’t nearly that bad!” Devils 3-2-1 in their last 6. Nice to see them settling down.

devlman
That was one of the worst games we’ve played 5 on 5 all year. Thank goodness for the PP. Ryan Graves with another piss poor performance. He’s really starting to worry me. Brendan Smith continues to take stupid penalties every game.

I’m sure he will be looking for a raise and I don’t think he’s doing what he needs to do to be worth it for us.

You can’t just settle for being better than Smith/Severson and think that’s enough to secure a spot.

And he isn’t what he was initially, he’s supposed to be a shutdown type guy, not an offensive threat, and right now he’s neither.
nessus
This game was such a great teaser of what Holtz could be. The passing, vision, and shooting all seem to be there. His speed, as well as the speed with which he thinks the game aren't quite there yet. And his play on the boards and defense still needs quite a bit of work. But despite all that, it was nice to see a strong game from him. He was making some good decisions at multiple points in the game, and was pretty awesome on the McLeod goal. Hopefully it's a performance to build on.
NJDfan1711
I agree that Graves needs to continue to prove his worth, but to me he's still better than Siegs, by a fair margin.
