Kept the Rangers from jumping ahead of the Devils, would’ve been a second straight loss and yet ANOTHER friggin’ home loss. 4-3-1 and 3-1-1 feels better than 3-4-1 and 2-2-1…especially with such a big trip coming. MB3 Posted January 11, 2023 Share Posted January 11, 2023 carolina is playing some mediocre-at-best hockey lately -- a SO win against the then-floundering Devils, 2 regulation losses in a row, and then a shootout loss to the worst team in the east. If the Devils can jump on them out of the gate there's a chance they pack it in early. i'll be interested to see how this team looks from the gun, and how it closes out the periods.
