Need VV to step up. 900 sv% tonight won’t get it done. Cannot lose this game.

I certainly don't WANT them to lose this game, but like I've said, if they're gonna lose, let me see a hard-fought loss where they might have come up short on the scoreboard, but weren't flat-out BEATEN, where we're at least happy with the level of play.  Not saying I'll be thrilled with any moral victories, but I'll take a "well-played, could've gone either way" loss over a 4-1 "Devils just got completely fvcking outclassed" kind of game.  If they get blown out tonight and it's a result of the Rangers having their way with the Devils and/or the Devils looking beyond unprepared for such a big game, I'm gonna be pissed.

One thing to remember...twice the Devils have trailed the Rangers by two goals and have come back to win.  Devils are also 2-0-1 against the Rangers this season (Rangers are 1-1-1 vs. the Devils, as they snagged a loser point in one of their losses to the Devils).  So if the Devils go down early, let's not make it sound like the Devils have already lost the game and can't possibly fight back...especially since they've shown an ability to fight back ALL season (this isn't directly specifically at you devlman, just a general request).

The Devils have inexcusably been sh!t in first periods lately. The playoffs are around the corner and they need to rectify that immediately. If they go down two goals early again I will be fuming. Just because they came back before does not excuse sloppy starts. They have to get this sh!t together now. 60 min LFG!

That’s where I’m at. Give me a solid, hard fought effort. If we come up a little short, okay- it would suck, but I could live with it. But don’t get run off the ice or I’m gonna lose my sh!t.

Really no excuse as professional athletes to consistently come out flat at the start of games. I expect them to be ready tonight...if they can't get it going for a game like tonight there aren't enough smelling salts in Newark to wake their asses up.

There is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for anything resembling a slow start tonight. This is a fvcking playoff game, and they better be treating it as one. They better come out with their damn hair on fire tonight.

You're assuming an early deficit would solely be the result of a sloppy start, and yeah, if that happens I won't be happy, and will also continue to make me wonder why the Devils' opponents damned near always seem to be better prepared early on than the Devils.  If they play well and fall behind on a couple of bad bounces (that can absolutely happen in a hockey game), I'll be begging for them to shake those off and keep at it.

I don't want to see the Rags go past the Devils in the standings, as I don't want that putrid bag of fvck knuckles to get any kind of psychological advantage going into the play offs.

So beat them. Beat them good. No d!cking around, make a statement.

Well yeah of course if it’s bad luck and bad bounces then you just have to hope they don’t drop their heads.
