Popular Post Satans Hockey
What an overall absolutely amazing season that none of us remotely expected. Such a huge turn around from last season, the biggest ever. Most wins ever, Hughes with the most points ever. Beating the rangers in 7 for the 1st time. Actually playing in May. Beats the absolutely misery of the past decade with nothing to give a sh!t about besides stupid draft lottos and draft picks that I don't give a fvck about besides hoping they turn out good. I had an absolute blast attending home games this year and watching this team. Love seeing our fan base rejuvenated. Was nice to finally balance out all those miserable nights I've spent watching dog sh!t hockey the past decade at the rock. Thank you Devils!!! 5

They couldn't afford to give them the edge yet they continuously did. It was the difference and they started in game one and never adapted. That's bad coaching. Aznjsn
It's almost as bad as feeling as the bernier major penalty we took in the 2012 final, but at least this one was competitive. Missed wide open opportunities and dug ourselves a hole too big this time. We will shed some dead weight this off-season (hopefully) and these guys will grow together from this. I'm glad we beat the Rangers in comeback fashion though. That itself is something to remember and it was great to see it live, waving their dejected fans who paid hundred of dollars to get shut out, out of our building. We are in a way better position with our young talent than most teams, so let's just ride this wave. We ain't crashing here. Devil Dan 56
Timos gonna be thinking about that empty net all summer. I bet he comes out like a lunatic next season.
DevilMinder
Same with Akira on that one goal right through his fivehole. Hope he can bounce back (and VV since they are our tandem)

Yeah I don’t think he ever truly fully settled in here. I get the feeling he’s going to have a hell of a season next year.
Devil Dan 56
I watched a replay of the goal. It may shock people to know that Fast tipped it in front while Graves was busy not covering him. 1 1

He proved himself this postseason, he’s also shown clear inexperience, but so did the entire team.

Maybe he was hurt or something in this series, because he looked... Awful. Slow, poor decisions, just a total negative out there.

He did some good things here and was an upgrade at the time, but was exposed as a transitional player. The kind of guy who’s not quite good enough to play for a team with designs on a legit Cup run.
RizzMB30
I am taking the Carolina series of this year similarly to how I took the Tampa series in '18. Just basically outplayed. top players disappeared and the other teams d corps was basically lights out good, especially in the games they took early and only allowed one goal. I think just another step in the teams progress. Huge test beating the Rangers and that was great, but this team is a playoffs worth more experienced now. You have Luke Hughes and Simon Nemec knocking on the door here who both had pro playoff experience this year. I know it's hard to look at the bright side after an OT loss like tonight, but I think all the pieces are still here and it's just a matter of putting everything together finding that second gear in playoffs. I think the core forwards are set and we have a core that doesn't need a lot of tweaking, but I think we need the youth to come in on defense now and start to take the reins. Ditto for goaltender position as with the defense. Add Nemec to this d corps and I think we are looking at what we need to go deep. Subtract Severson and Graves, and add Nemec and LHughes. I think even with this disappointing series and it was a decent run.

He definitely seems like he's being trained for a bigger role, no way they're going to keep him on the YouTube post game show. I've enjoyed his takes too, He's an entertaining dude
