I’m not concerned about this at all…I’m sure he’ll put some on in time, but I don’t see a guy who’s too skinny or looking like he’ll get abused because he’s not strong enough. And I know years of sucking played a massive role…but man how cool is it that the Devils managed to get their mitts on two out of three Hugheses? I can’t wait to see Luke get a full season in the NHL.

Bulk doesn’t necessarily equate to pure strength, and some guys are simply not naturally thick. Especially as teenagers. There will be some natural filling out as he ages, and I’m sure if at any point the Devils are concerned with how he’s built, that their training staff will work with him to address it. Crisis
If any STHs have 3+ preseason tickets they are not looking to use or want to try to unload, let me know. I want to take my boys to a game as soon as they start up. Trying to go to the Sept 25th game against the Rangers but any will do.

It's probably somebody's job to make sure that these guys are taking care of themselves and their bodies. Personal trainers and doctors too. As everyone else has stated, Luke is just taller and lankier than the older two and I think he'll fill out fine. As long as he puts in the work, I'm sure he can fill out to 190 or 195 and still look like Nieds or Jack out there speedwise. Colorado Rockies 1976
Devils prospect Graeme Clarke determined to win job at training camp | Q&A - nj.com Basically willing to do whatever it takes and play wherever he's asked to make the big club, but at the same time, he considers himself an offensive player. He knows he's more on the outside looking in, given the forward depth. Also of course it feels like Foote has the early inside track on nailing down a Bottom 6 role. It might take an injury or two before Clarke gets a real shot.

vincois
not sure Nolan Foote is going to make the big club. Never received much playing when he was up. Maybe we were behind in a game or whatever. If he doesn't make opening night roster Fitz might try to move him. Lindy's going to expect physicality.

RizzMB30
Always liked Langenbrunner. Good to see he's moving on up. Kinda surprised to see the USHOF decide to honor him, but well deserved. I would put money down that Langs was a huge influence on guys like Parise and Zajac. Edited September 10 by RizzMB30

I would bet if Seamus Casey is high on the list of players other teams ask Fitz about, I would wager that Holtz is still pretty high on that list. I wonder how many of these prospects Fitz says are untouchable when other teams come a calling.
