GDT: Kraken @ Devils - 7PM, 2/12

Jack since the Vancouver game in early December: 5 goals and 7 assists with a -9 in the previous sixteen games which includes the hat trick game in Columbus.  He hasn't 'been doing Jack things' for a while, hopefully tonight is the start of him being focused again and not sulking over the team's sh!tty goaltending and system.

Second game in a row where we watched to the end for many I bet. It is nice to see the goalies keeping the Devils in the games. Consistent effort and above average skills should be winning the Devils more games like tonight.

Never got the impression that focus has been an issue for Jack.  Or that he was ever sulking.

If anything his struggles were the result of his trying to do too much to make up for the team’s woes in other areas, which might reflect frustration but not sulking.

But wait, according to Lindy, Daws hasn’t played a game in a while and therefore cannot be trusted. This should be a Daws shutout incoming.

So Daws clearly had no rust and could be trusted. In other words, Lindy had it DEAD WRONG. Had he had a fvcking clue he would’ve pulled VV against Calgary and we would’ve had one or two crucial points.

The other thing that doesn’t make sense to me is why did it take until February for Lindy to change his very ineffective defensive system??? Just so maddening.

Bolded has summed up 3LR's tenure here when he isn't buoyed by a handful of twentysomethings year olds having their best seasons (at that point).

Guy is a fvcking clown and should have been retired years ago.

Technically he was retired years ago (as a HC, anyway), but Fitz decided to give him a look, when he probably never would’ve given a chance by any other team.  Based on wanting to go with a vet coach after Hynes fizzled and the fact that bigger names weren’t in any rush to come here with the future still an unknown, I understood the hire at the time, and hoped for the best.

But we really have seen what a difference Brunette made while here, even though we tended to focus on the meh power play.  He’s been missed.

Maybe Fitz could get him back by offering free Long Island Ice Teas for life from the goal bar
