I googled him and apparently McKenzie referred to Silayev as a ‘unicorn’ because of how well he skates for his height. Lindy has never coached up there before. he could a perfect fit. It’s not like he had a stacked roster that went undefeated for like 15 straight games to start the year, Olympic medaling goalie who was arguably the best American goalie at his time, and completely wasted his prime. All hinging on two words he yelled over and over at a Stanley cup LOSING celebration, the closest he ever came to being a champion, 25 years ago.
