Weekes Head
According to CNN.com: 'Housewives' star Cross: I'm not gay 'It was really weird, though, that there was all this curiosity' Thursday, February 10, 2005 Posted: 8:31 AM EST (1331 GMT) NEW YORK (AP) -- Marcia Cross is making it clear that while she's no desperate housewife, she's not gay, either. The "Desperate Housewives" star said she wasn't a lesbian after "The View" co-host Barbara Walters questioned her Wednesday on rumors regarding her sexuality. "I'm not," said Cross. She wondered how the rumors had gotten started. "Well, it was very odd," said Cross. "And I, I just assumed this is what comes of being 42 and single. I don't know if they just needed to find a reason why I wasn't married." Cross' publicist had earlier released a statement denying the reports. The actress was filling in for "The View" co-host Meredith Vieira. Each day, a different star from "Desperate Housewives" has been a guest host on the ABC daytime talk show while it airs from Los Angeles. Cross said she didn't know what all the fuss was about. "I do think it was really weird, though, that there was all this curiosity about something, like that -- about sexuality," she said. "And I thought what a world we live in that that's so important." http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/02/10/p...s.ap/index.html ---- Hey, I'm not gay either, but I think she is one of the most beautiful women in the entertainment industry today! sammyk
Her evil look is part of what makes her so beautiful.
Zamode
She has nice features, I think she's attractive. I've only seen smidgets of that show, is it any good?
sammyk
It's good Zam! Try and catch it if you can. Keeps you wondering like Lost. Oh and see, she's so beautiful that even the women like her! Universal acceptance.

Darwindog
Who cares? Why, anyone who takes the time to post in the thread of course! SOOO.. I think she's not so pretty. It's her eyebrows I hate! and she's got so much SKIN. I don't mind a high forehead but I just hate it paired with her eyebrows. I hate it when brows grow along beneath the eyesocket there at the bridge of the nose... I dont know she looks like her eyes are rolling back into her head. Judy Garland had that same thing -- they fixed it pretty well in Wizard of Oz but anyhow -- that's what just ruined her look IMO.
Zamode
She is too boney, though--her clavicles look harmful!

I've only seen smidgets of that show, is it any good? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Zam, the show is incredible. It had me hooked within the first five minutes of the first episode. It's a soap-drama-dark comedy, it's just amazing. I don't know what it is, but it has that mystery factor, and it's not the cheesy type where you can guess what's going to happen -- I think it's like Lost in that aspect. I mean, you think one thing is going to happen and in the next instant the complete OPPOSITE happens. Just when you think you have everything figured out though, another twist comes in. It's so fricken addictive!
Zamode
Maybe I will check it out, then. Sunday nights? I don't watch much tv at all, Lost is the only program I follow, really.

They also replay episodes on Saturdays, I believe at 10pm (could be off with the time though). Definitely check it out!

Darwindog
How funny! See I think Brenda Strong looks the way Marcia Cross is supposed to! I didn't even know she was on Desperate Housewives too! I haven't seen the show. I looked up her name by Googling Seinfeld India -- I knew she was Sue Ellen! I cant find any decent pictures of her... she's cuter in action than in pictures. obviously I'm not the only one who thinks they're similar either! Devils731
How sad. Cross is definitely gay, I heard it on the radio so she obviously doesn't know herself as well as she thinks she does. She was even in the unaired pilot. Brenda Strong pretty much only narrates. She was only in the first episode where she offed herself, and I guess flashbacks, but I don't even think there were any of those.

LizDevil30
Didn't Cynthia Nixon from "Sex in the City," turn out to be gay? Or turn gay? Or is testing out being gay?
