devilsrule33
Playing his 1549th career NHL game. Tied for sixth. I ahd no idea that he was that high in the game played list. Who is ahead of him? Messier?, Coffey,? Bourque?, Yzerman?. I know Howe is.

DevilMinder
Well here is hoping Messier quits soon because you all know Stevens will want to beat him. Looks like we got him another 2 years still.

Mighty Grendel
NHL NEWS Buttman has agreed that next year, players over 38 years old will be permitted to fit rockets to their skates. this will hopefully extend the careers of teams aging stars that wish to beat howe's record of 1767 games played. the nhl is also considering icechairs fitted with rockets so that Mary o Lemeiux may play well on into his 40's even with a broken back.
