SammyK says:

You're right, it is, I'm not denying it. It's just one of those questions that is going to get one answer. Only time someone will say no is if they are a fan of another team, trying to be devils advocate, or just messing around.

I say:

The answer depends on whom you ask.

Optimistic?  What optimistic Devils fan would say that Marty would NOT finish his career as a Devil?

I don't know, but they're out there.

I'd love to see him retire a Devil, but I dont see it happening. Brodeur's already on record saying he wants to play in Canada before he moves on with the next chapter in his life.

In other words, I am thinking both as a optimistic and pessimistic.

Is there any solid reason why HE wouldnt want to stay in New Jersey. I can not see Lou just getting rid of him

He's told the media before he wants to play in front of his hometown Montreal fans in the NHL so think Montreal Canadiens eventually unless he changes his mind. Its a boyhood dream of his.
