I had another thought today...Ovechkin is already a dominant player....he has over DOUBLE the amount of points that the 2nd leading scorer on his team has..that is insane!!! Call me nuts, how about OC getting a small consideration for the Hart? Why not if he scores 65+? he's the luongo of forwards this year, down the road there will probably be something saying that he might deserve consideration for the hart, but in the end he'll probably get one or two votes. in the traditional sense of "MVP" he is the most valuable player, but i think everybody knows its for those who make the playoffs, so ultimately it won't go to him...the only player who nears ovechkin's value to his team is luongo, sadly i doubt either will get any consideration.
