LucifersDog
http://www.nypost.com/sports/devils/59422.htm "The agent for suspended Vladimir Malakhov declined to say whether the defenseman is ready to return to play, which would force resolution of Lou Lamoriello's claim that Malakhov has retired, a position agent Paul Theofanis' office disputes. Malakhov is losing out on some $2 million in salary this year and another $3.6M next season." Only with Lou and the Devils. He either retired or he didn't. So what's the truth. Is there 3 days to change ones mind if he did retire. Edited January 22, 2006 by LucifersDog

Vinnie
I thought when the agent claimed he was on a leave of absence Lou said he wasn't given permission for a leave of absence and is therefore suspended.
TheDevilHimself
Malakhov should not even be allowed near New Jersey with the way he played in 2005
