HarbingerOfSorrow
Indeed, NJay. I expect the Wild to remain winless against NJ!!!
NJayDevil
Chaos Line is together so that means Elias is with Gomez. I like that. See what those 2 lines will do again. If it isn't panning out, put Elias back with Madden.
NJayDevil
ohhhhhhhhh man....Marty makes very key saves and then Madden had a SH breakaway and looked like Kovy with his puck handling skills but great save by Roloson.
HarbingerOfSorrow
PPGs will be hard to come by. The Wild are #3 in PK.

HarbingerOfSorrow
WCDF, you can listen to the game on NHL.com The Devils radio announcers are Velichek and Hennessy. There's a little bit of a delay (a couple minutes), but it's pretty good.

I watch the ESPN game tracker but it is slow as heck. Shots On Goal 1st 2nd 3rd T Minnesota 7 0 0 7 New Jersey 13 0 0

NJayDevil
it was an unbelieveable pass by Gomez as well. Highlight reel type of play.
NJayDevil
TERRIBLE CALL results in a goal for Minnesota. 2-1.
Sarge18
Unfortunately we probably wont see Berglund again this game.... Damn bad calls that cost us.
Derek21
NJay, they always call that. Players cannot hit a guy when he turns like that because it will be a penalty. Anytime a player is in that position, they are fragile. It wasn't a smart play by Berglund.
NJayDevil
We might see him again, Burns didn't agree with the call at all. Wasn't Bergy's fault.
Googer
I dunno, even the Minnesota announcing team said that shouldn't have been called.
Sarge18
Radio guys said he turned at the last minute. If thats the case its hard to pull off a hit like that.
NJayDevil
Derek, Bergy couldn't stop his forward motion in time. When Bergy setup to hit that smuck he wasn't facing the boards then he turned and it was too late for Bergy to let up on him. Bergy isn't super human and can just stop his forward motion in .00001 seconds. It was a terrible call.
Derek21
It doesn't matter. Players can get seriously hurt on a hit like that. If the ref doesn't make a call there, then the player isn't being protected. Berglund decides to hit him in front of the ref and you think that's ok? If it were a Devil, you'd be screaming for a penalty.
Googer
Derek, to avoid plays like that happening, you'll have to take all hitting out of the game altogether "just in case". Somehow I doubt you want that.
