U are the who should open your eyes, screened or not, blue line wristshots (and it was not top of the circles) are unnacceptable at any hockey level.

You said "outside the blue line", it was well inside the blue line and there are 2 guys that should have blocked that shot but instead made a nice screen. Off the crossbar, you don't see it... it either hits you or goes in. You don't "stop it". Using your logic Pando's goal should never have gone in either.

is it blasphemous to suggest that parise move up with gio and gomer? elias is doing more harm than good right now.

Parise is better than Elias right now, but doing that could be a risk. When you take into consideration how much we've needed to rely on Parise this postseason, I wouldn't want to risk the chance of losing his production by putting him with two new linemates and throwing away the chemistry he has with Zajac and Langs.

Well when he pulled the puck for wrist shot he was outside the blue line, once the shot was released he was across the line. And there is a difference with players right in front of the goalies(like on Pando's goal), and players 40 feet away from goalies(Fischer's Goal). Marty had much more reaction time to get that puck, Emery did not.

Cute, why not give the game to the senators....

"much more reaction time"

You're talking like it was rolling in on him. Just because it was a wrist shot and not an Al MacInnis laser beam doesn't mean it's easy to stop. Wrist shots are slower but they really aren't slow at all at this level, and when you combine that with a screen, it is no easy save to make.
