I don't mind him as a player, but the contract could be very bothersome. If he can be signed to a $6M/2yr deal (unlikely), fine, but anything in the $16M/4yr range is ridiculous. And like NJD Jester said, he isn't a very competent center. I'll get flamed for it, but I'd much rather sign Forsberg for a year or two. Or trade for someone like Morrison to stopgap for a season. Triumph Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 oh god, please not morrison - and who in the world do we have to deal for him voros the free agent market isn't going to get any more sane. and you aren't going to find many bargains. if zubrus gets a five year deal i'll throw up - i don't think he will, honestly. there is still 'value' in the FA market - zubrus's value over a replacement player is still high, despite the high price tag.
