This is time for Popp to be gone, from the HC position. HE ISN'T A HC, from the beginning of his hiring I was against that. He's an amazing General manager, but as a HC he's just..Pathetic. How about he traded away R.Edwards and now he gained for about 430yards? Well, for Popp Edwards wasn't good enough, But...Edwards wasn't the guy to run in Stretchs, he's the BIG GUY in those HB DIVES! Why he didn't keep him, and give Payton the RB # 1 Job? And having a 2punch RB? Why? Popp had few experiences. Last year and in 2001. Did it pay off? Not really, we lost vs the Lions in the Grey Cup.Therefore, thanks up for the East Divison which wasn't that good compared to the West,. See , Popp can only do these things: " Hi(To the Coordinators) Ok, this will be our gameplan, Ok so you take control of the OFF and you take control of the DEF" In the game..." Humm..What we do now? Our gameplan isn't working!" Heck, they could have hired Jacques Chapdelaine(I WAS PULLING HARD FOR THE ALS TO SIGN HIM AS THE HC) Oh well..Now the ALS are 110% sure of missing the Playoffs, I'm just so fvcking happy, maybe Larry Smith will open his eyes and sees that Popp isn't a true HC.. Don Posted November 12, 2007 Share Posted November 12, 2007 The playoff games today were GREAT!!! I think they should move the CFL playoff games to Saturday. I had to choose between CFL and NFL and had nothing to watch yesterday afternoon. Anywho, I went with the CFL and damn, I wasn't disappointed. Winnipeg beat Montreal on the final play of the game. And in game 2, Saskatchewan had a 9 point lead with 2 minutes to go in the game and Calgary deep in their own zone. But they quickly march up the field and make it a 2 point game with 1 minute to go. They think they have the ball off the onside kick and the sideline erupts, but the official calls offside on them during the play and they have to redo the kick. Saskatchewan recovers on the second attempt to hold on to their 2 point lead and win the game. They went 3rd and one, (AT the Winninpeg 1!) And they missed it. I mean geez, Popp says" We kick the FG" . Then he calls a T.O, because all the players were saying" GO FOR IT, GO FOR IT" Then, he change his decision, he wants to go for 3rd and one.. Guess what? They don't get it,...And they could have 3points!! Then... Popp.. With 1:30-40 left in the game, is 3rd and one, at Als 40... They're leading by 22-21.. I still don't guess why they went with 3rd and one... I mean geez, just kick the damn ball in their deep zone,and there's a better chance that the Bombers will not score. Oh and.. Do you know what Popp said three weeks ago.. When reporters asked about his tenure as a head coach? He thought that he did a great job... :rofl: ... Geez, they're 8-10, the guy don't even know how to coach a team, ... He has to be gone from Montreal, as a GM and as a HC" Larry Smith... I won't watch a team that's directed by a moron.. So please, I won't even try to watch the Als plays next year, even if they're winning with that sick dude moron that's Popp. GL SMITH. I was thinkin' to go to T.O. next week for the Grey Cup if the Argos had won... not just to watch Toronto play in the Grey Cup, but also to see Saint Mary's play in the Vanier. (Woot! Go Huskies!) But I'm kinda low on cash and I'm not going to stretch it to watch Winnipeg vs Lions/Roughriders. Bishop may have been 9-1 during the regular season, but he wasn't impressive in many of those wins. Most of the time the defence won the games and Bishop only had to put up a few points for the win. Today the defence didn't hold and Bishop was absolutely terrible. 20% completion ratio? (Had it been Winnipeg vs B.C., I'd find some NFL game to watch... don't care about either team). Turnovers. Horrid play by the offensive line allowing both BC quarterbacks to be sacked and sacked again. Those two things killed the Lions. So both underdogs won today.
