devils26 Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 How anti-climatic. I thought I would be happy if Lou signed anybody, but I proved myself wrong. Rachunek is not very sound defensively, and I don't think he is good enough offensively to QB the PP. You never know though, if there is anywhere where a D-man can develop his defensive game, NJ is the place. I still think there is a little hope. Defenseman look bad playing in the Rangers system, IMO, as it doesn't provide them with enough support at times while playing the Devils system can make average defenseman look very good.
