I HATE MY JOB!!!!!!!!!!!&#

Hey guys- I haven't posted in a while, I know. I have barely had time to read the board over the last couple of months with how busy I've been. It's all work related. And it all sucks. I've been working for the same company for two years now. We're an IT channel marketing and sales infrastructure company. And I DESPISE it. Now, I've never really liked my job to be fair. But, I've stayed becasue I needed to get the experience. Well, now I have almost two years of marketing experience under my belt after a decision to change careers. I took this job because they were the only people who would hire me with no experience. For that, I'm forever greatful. BUT- I've had it now and I need to get out.

I have my resume posted on Monster and CareerBuilder. I've sent out resumes to a few different places when I've had the time- but that's one of my biggest problems. Working as much as I do, I have NO TIME to conduct a thorough job search as I'm sure most of you can relate to. IT channel marketing if fine if you want to make a career in the IT industry. But I don't. I want to work in sports marketing or direct product marketing, PR or advertising. And I can't find ANYTHING. So, I call on you, my fellow NJDevers to help me if you can. If you know anyone who is looking for a marketing employee who will work their ass off and give 110%, tell me about it. If you are a manager yourself in marketing or a related field and are looking for someone, tell me about it. Heck- I'd like to think I'm a good writer and I still have an interest in going into some kind of journalism. If you know anyone in that field who is looking to give someone a shot, PLEASE tell me about it. Bottom line is I hate my job and I feel I'm going nowhere here because we're a small company and the opportunity for advancement isn't good. The benefits stink and there's no 401k or retirement plan at all. I just want to find a new opportunity and I don't know what else I can do. Thanks in advance to all. I worked at The Hertz Corporation a year ago and they always had a lot of marketing stuff going on. Aside from that tip I can't really be much help. They are in Park Ridge.
