devilsfan26
i have heard various reasons for there not being seats in the 4 empty locations.to be honest, seeing them empty is worse than seeing empty seats. the whole "storage" is BS. you're telling me there isnt storage under ANY other sections in the arena? gimme a break! i did hear that those sections would offer awful views. well then, Mr. Vanderbeek, put some seats there and sell them for $15....at STH value. DevilishFan30
You can't put seats there because the sections next to that area come in at different angles so you if you put seats there a good amount of those seats wouldn't be able to see the ice. Nobody is going to pay $15 to go to a game and not even be able to see it.

NJTank99
You can see it a bit in this pic http://flickr.com/photos/njtank/2094189904...57603402227721/
Devils731
Just looking at the picture, I believe you would have an issue in part of the section having an obstructed view. I also wonder if they could structurally build that section on without having weight issues since they may have a trouble connecting it with the center section if they built the seats off the end sectino. titans04
Well with the extra seats thell draw more then 17,625 coz we are already drawing easily 16k so with like the extra seats it'll make it maybe 18k. Coz if they keep the free space like that that would be a waste of space
DevilishFan30
Sounds good but it's just not true, they're drawing 14,176 on average and are 26th out of 30 teams, I doubt any additional seats are coming any time soon.
devilsfan26
look if you add like 1500 seats these seats wouldnt be empty at resonable price so it will make it 15.6k average
Matteau#32
I have not been following the Devils attendance, but the ONLY way the prices will come down is if people do not buy the lower level seats. My guess is people are avoiding the pricier seats. If they were being sold, they would not be offering the ticket specials, i.e. $65 seats for $32, and whatever else they are giving. As for adding seats, I'd be willing to bet that would be close to impossible unless they were to remove all the upper level seats and replace them with narrower seats. Even that might not help all too much as they probably would not be able to add a seat to a row without making the aisles narrower.

Matteau#32
Those are mostly group promotions for Boy Scouts, people with AAA or EZ-Pass, etc.But $65 is way too much for those tickets. I can't justify spending that much to sit there.
