No matter how much we know Batista sucks, he is still a main eventer. They had to give Batista the belt to keep him looking strong because the guy has lost the majority of his title shots of late. Having Batista lose clean to Orton accomplishes nothing and having a dq finish on a ppv yet again is just not possible.

so you give the guy the belt who then gets "injured" to cover up a suspension??

fvck the wrestler.. the TITLE should be more important... hot shotting the belt (this goes to Hardy too)... cheapens and makes the belt mean LESS

And the Hardy quick title switch has a point too. The crowd loves jeff hardy and having CM Punk take advantage of him is going to lead to his heel turn which I am excited about. Ya got to look at the big picture in the long run sometimes.

Now if you want to talk about stupid meaningless things than seeing Donald Trump as the new owner of Raw is one of the dumbest things that has happened in awhile. I don't see how this can be good in any aspect.

The harm in letting edge win and than lose is that the fans won't turn on Punk, the boos already started on smackdown and tonight at raw for punk because he beat hardy. Punk has been getting less and less pops from the crowd over the past few months so I think the time was right to begin his heel turn. I have seen him as a heel before and I think he is much better at it than being a face. Also nice to see Punk put Misawa on his tape in remembrance. Classy move.

Ya I'm quite sick of the Orton-HHH feud that is seemingly never going to officially end. Hopefully this Trump thing doesn't last too long and he just appoints a GM and than goes off and dies somewhere. I hated the Trump storyline back around and at WM23 and I have no desire whatsoever to see him on my tv set every week. It was nice to see the crowd boo the sh!t out of this segment though.

Also why not throw the Miz a bone and have him take out cena at the end. He could have ran at both HHH and Cena and just have knocked himself and Cena over. It would have gotten him over even more as a heel.

btw look for legacy to beat down HHH next week in the last man standing match which will lead to a rematch at the Bash. Yippie(sarcasm)

They could have had the beatdown before the cage match and have Orton pick the bones just as well and not really affected much of anything... even MORE SO since Orton got the effing belt back anyway (which Orton did need mind you)

But even the subtile thing that Punk did with Misawa on his wrists... makes me think he might stick as a tweener for now, which is ok too he can be kinda heelish still

The whole creative team should be fired...dumb, dumb, and very dumb ideas lately. Donald Trump? seriously? i was expecting a JBL to be the owner of raw...that would've been sweet...n smackdown clearly is the better show now hands down..I havent seen a good raw in a really really long time. Very nice. I was surprised to scroll past SpikeTV and see Raven on it. I thought he just disappeared. Possibly one of my favorite wrestlers ever.

I was also watching...something WWE-related (possibly WWECW, or one of the late-night recap shows) and saw some team using the Hart Foundation gimmick? I'm guessing the dungeon's cranking out third generation wrestlers now?

Really? Back when i was a full time wrestling watcher (few years ago now) it was TNA that had the better pure wrestling and WWE lulled you to sleep with speeches and drama stories.

Vince Russo has ruined TNA with his dumb fvcking storylines. They have an amazing roster but they can't use them right. Ring of Honor is the best wrestling promotion right now, but its hard for me to follow since I don't have the coin for DVD's and they only come to Jersey once or twice a year

me too...and im really sick of raw and the Triple H/Orton feud...it never ends! they've had so many stipulation matches i mean come on whats next? Triple H vs. Orton in an iron man match at night of champions? give me a break we need soem need championship feuds..(punk/hardy is turning out to be a great feud)
