RSC
Let's read the spin on this one - Before tonight's TNA iMPACT tapings began in Orlando, members of the TNA staff addressed the crowd at the iMPACT Zone about their behavior. Fans were told not to curse, make obscene gestures or gang signs. The fans were referred to as "cast members" and were basically told they needed to be quiet, according to a fan in attendance. This is likely another decision made by Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, who haven't been pleased with some of the reactions from the TNA crowd lately. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jAIe58DveY&feature=player_embedded (what a cluster fvck... you do what we want you to do... bllaarrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!!) Fvcking TNA took the video down! What was it, exactly?

Marv4Life
This is something that TNA is going to have to learn. WWE is great at controlling an audience (provides the signs for the fans) and also taking advantage of the bigger arena size where the audience is pretty much background and the voices of 20,000 people drawn out the profanity. This is something WWE has cultivated after years of experience, though they still can't control 100%, but they use the audience as a gage for character developing. Or maybe the number of kids outnumbering adults has something to do with it.
MantaRay
Or maybe the number of kids outnumbering adults has something to do with it. Adults (TNA) vs kids (WWE) has nothing to do with it. WWE in a 20,000 seat arena can pan the camera on the Wrestlers and have 100 people or so in the background. TNA in the 3,000 seat studio can not. Hi, I'm VALUE!
How about Kong leaving TNA over the Haiti crap Bubba started and Hogan mocking her on the way out the door? ODB and Tara should be following her right out the door, because Hogan just basically told everyone what he thought of fighting women in his company. CRASHER
OK, seeing Angle spit in Hogan's face and the Impact Zone LIGHT UP was almost worth that sh!t storm that was Impact Anyone know where I can get a pic of that... I smell avatar!!!!!
Beezer34
Thursday's iMPACT! pulled in an average of 1.9 million viewers.... as did last weeks edition (1.9)... and the live iMPACT! the week prior to that drew 2.2 million. TNA is averaging 2 million viewers per week to kick off 2010. Their previous company high (after 3 consecutive shows) was 1.7 million (average) November 2008. Maybe they're doing something right, I'm not sure though. *PS: ...and yet again, the segment with Hogan seemed to draw the highest number of the night. MantaRay
No surprise. TNA made a big splash, the question remains will they maintain the interest or will Hogan/Bishoff screw things up again????

MantaRay
Monday Night iMPACT! Smart move. It's fertile ground for viewership
Hi, I'm VALUE!
The Royal Rumble was a quality watch last night. For anyone who didn't have this already, I found Scott Keith's blog. He's the one that famously rants on WWE shows, though I think he's retired to PPV Only. Click Here to get to it.

Hi, I'm VALUE!
Has Scott Hall been on TNA since opening night? Just about every week, though doing as little actual wrestling as possible. This past week they jumped Kurt Angle.

CRASHER
This past Thursday's episode of TNA iMPACT scored a 1.2 cable rating. Looks like the novelty is starting to wear off, and the burials are beginning... Beer Money off TV for weeks (though I can't complain about the dropping of Jarrett and even Foley from Relevance )..... the dismantling of World Elite for no real reason is annoying me, I'm hoping the X-Division gets there time at Destination X... the Joe "losing streak" angle seems weak.... and really... I didn't think it was possible to make the Abyss character WORSE and look weaker... but hey they did it ... I won't even go into the "Born Again Nature Boy" Gimmick on AJ and really... please god... no more of the "Same Old" World Order... PLEASE!!!! Not the smartest time to be going full time to Monday Nights and a burial on my DVR watching......
CRASHER
... been almost a week since TNA said they were moving to Monday Night (lack of) Impact... and NO ONE'S said a word about it.... tells you how quickly the novelty of the Same Old World Order has not only worn off... but made what was a show on the cusp of being GOOD into a level of epic fail that's borderline UNWATCHABLE..... *sigh*... so sad.....Hulk-a-FAIL is running wild on TNA..... BROTHA!

BROTHA! I have only seen bits and pieces, but it still looks like its on the right path (Nash vs Hall, Angle). It far too early to write this off. Although Bishoff and Hogan do have the history of failure, hopefully they have learned what NOT to do.
CRASHER
-- This week’s edition of TNA iMPACT drew a horrible 1.14 cable rating, with 1.5 million viewers. The first hour averaged a 1.3 rating, then the rating collapsed heading in to the second hour and diminished from that point on. The show closed with a 0.9 rating for their big angle with Hogan and Flair. Heading in to their historic move to Monday Night’s, you never want to see your rating/viewership drop in the ladder part of your show. Hi, I'm VALUE!
The rating this week wasn't going to come anywhere near close (IMPACT! did a 0.6 against one of the strongest RAW's in years). But TNA made a very quiet yet quality move this week by not offering the Nasty Boyz a full-time contract after their 90-day eval period ended. That's a huge positive.
