The New Guy

The Ducks enforcer Parros played a total of 5 games in the playoffs none past game 2 of the second round. They didn't quite have enforcers on their cup run. The fact is Cam Janssen brought nothing to this team this year. The only thing that he did bring the team has other players who can take care of that stuff along other solid play that actually would contribute to a playoff run. Cam was expendable and thus he got moved for a solid defense who can help shore up the blueline and hopefully help Marty out a bit more.

Salvador's Pros and Cons

Pros:

- Very physical in the corner and in front, nobody will get a free ride.

- Very sound positionally in the defensive zone.

- A good character guy who will stand up for teamates.

- Calm with the puck, doesn't force plays.

- Veteran Leader who is a Sutter type guy

Cons:

- Average skating for a defensmen his size.

- No offense to his game at all

- Better fit in the rough and tough west.

Like I said before I think he is basically a mixture of Matvichuk and Lukowich.

Ha I assume you meant stand up for teammates/to opponents?

If he works out here like a mixture of Matvichuk and Lukowich then I think that will be nice and helpful. Thanks for providing the insight.

As long as there is no Ken Klee in him!!!

Just blindly reading those Pros and Cons, it could be argued that you are describing Ken Daneyko

Greene and Brookbank were horrible and one of the reasons we lost. Bring in Salvador for the rest of the year, please..

yeah i have to agree with you. i cant wait to see how Salvador fits in. im not a huge fan of greene or brookbank. I'd rather have Mottau in than Brookbank. i dont care about the fighting aspect Brookbank has.
