jkrdevil 0
From TSN's Free agent show, Campbell has narrowed it down to 3 teams Atlanta, Chicago, and San Jose. As for Redden same teams plus a couple others include Dallas, Columbus, Calgary, and the Rangers. Looks like the Devils may be out for both.
Confusious 0
Campbell is getting average offers of 7M. Redden 6/6.5M. Of course NJ isn't interested anymore.
RSC 28
Maybe Lou is focusing on Hossa? And then getting Bouwmeester? Yeah. That's gotta be it.

MantaRay 72
Redden is close to signing a deal with Dallas. Lou is smart to avoid a bidding war.
DaneykoIsGod 120
Glad we aren't in the running for either of these guys. Here's hoping the Rags spend a TON for a LOT of years on Redden.
stevestevens 0
Trading for defense is the better move, especially with the crop we already have with 8 defense man under our belt.
Chimaira_Devil_#9 990
Im sorry but if Campbell wants to sing with Atlanta the its all about the $$$$ If you would rather go to Atlanta than the Devils, Ottawa and any other contenders then being on a winning team cant be your motivation. He's more than likely involved in the Rolston/Hossa bid wars. jkrdevil 0
Trading for defense is the better move, especially with the crop we already have with 8 defense man under our belt. Agree with the money being thrown around McCabe's contract might be looking reasonable. EDIT: On the Rolston front Bob Mckenzie is reporting the Devils have a significant offer out there for Rolston. Confusious 0
Are you talking about the same Lou? TSN reported that NJ is one of the four teams interested in Rolston.
Triumph 1,415
McCabe's contract is pretty terrible, and he and Salvador on the same team breaking down at the same time will get ugly.
Voros19 0
Wow, $8.5M for Campbell? I think the Wild might out really well with the Zidlicky deal. A 2nd and some average prospect for Campbell-lite.
MantaRay 72
TSN reported that NJ is one of the four teams interested in Rolston. I am sure we were interested, but our interest probably passed at $4 million per season.
